In what may seem to be a series of unfortunate things that will likely unfold in coming days, a man from Arizona thought to follow President Trump’s recommendations and made a fatal error. After watching televised briefings by Trump talking about potential benefits of chloroquine, this individual in his 60s decided to mix a small amount of the substance with a liquid and drink it as a way to prevent the coronavirus.
Within 20 minutes of that, the man and his wife (who also consumed it) became extremely ill (dizzy, vomiting) and then he developed respiratory problems. As told to NBC News, the emergency responders at 911 took way too long with their questionnaires and shortly after he arrived at the hospital, he died.
